Doing 2-mile laps is easy, you keep on running until the time runs out or until you get tired.<\/p>\n<p>You can take a break to rest or even nap between laps, the choice is yours. Yet, even when tired, your mind keeps telling you that you can do one more lap, then another, and another, before you know it, you&#8217;ve run more miles than ever before and you feel awesome for hitting a new milestone.<\/p>\n<p>6 &amp; 12-Hour runners have the option to start at 6:00 PM on Saturday (main start) to run into the night or 6:00 AM Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, you will get out of this exactly what you put into it. It is not an easy task, taking determination, persistence, patience, and grit to push on through. The Silver Moon Race is perfect for runners attempting their first 100-miles or for seasoned runners to improve their pacing, training, and endurance.<\/p>\n<p>Some runners will hit 100-miles within 24-hours, others will need more time. Runners must reach at least 84-miles by 24-hours to be allowed to continue for an additional 6-hours to reach 100-miles within 30-hours. Take turns doing laps or sets of laps equally to get in as many laps as possible as a team.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tADDITIONAL RACE DETAILS\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t<h3>\t\n\tLEADERBOARDS<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>While the race is chip timed to track runners, total laps, and time for final results after the race is complete, there will be leaderboards for 6, 12, 24-hour, and 100-mile runners to track their laps.<\/p>\n<p>As you come through the checkpoint for each lap, stop at the leaderboard and mark off your lap. This is an honor system, there is no cheating in this race, what you put into it is what you will get out of it. This is required and only the runner is allowed to mark off their completed lap.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Check-in at each lap.<\/li>\n<li>Find your name\/bib.<\/li>\n<li>Mark an X for the lap completed.<\/li>\n<li>Proceed to the next lap.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Black and colored Sharpies will be available, but we recommend you bring your own color Sharpie to use throughout the race.
