ON TIME

As the race takes place over a 2-day period it is important to be aware of the race schedule and timeline so you arrive with enough time to settle down, check-in, and prepare for an awesome race experience.

Below you'll find the full timeline for the Silver Moon Race at CASS Winery in Paso Robles, California.

NOTE:  Final 2023 event schedule may be adjusted to improve the overall experience.  Once details have been finalized this page will be updated along with email and social media announcements.

  • SATURDAY 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    ARRIVE

    Come early to pick out a camp space or check-in to the GENSEO INN, set up, enjoy the winery, have lunch, check-in to the race, relax, and rest before the race starts.

  • SATURDAY 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM

    RACE CHECK-IN

    Check-in to pick up your bib and enjoy the race festivities. 

  • SATURDAY 5:45 PM

    PRE-RACE BRIEFING

    Briefing to go over race details, the leaderboard, and rules for 6, 12, 24-hour, and 100-mile runners and relay teams. The meeting is mandatory for these categories and will be by the start line. 

  • SATURDAY 6:00 PM

    RACE START

    Start for 6, 12, 24-hour, and 100-mile runners and relay teams. 

  • SATURDAY 6:05 PM

    10K RACE START

    Start for 10K runners. 

  • SATURDAY 6:10 PM

    WINE WALK START

    Start for the Wine Walk.

  • SATURDAY 12:00 AM

    6-HOUR FINISH

    Runners in the 6-hour race category finish at midnight and receive medals, wine, and awards. 

  • SUNDAY 5:00-6:00 AM

    MORNING CHECK-IN

    Check-in for 6 & 12-hour runners starting Sunday at 6:00 AM.

  • SUNDAY 6:00 AM

    12-HOUR FINISH

    Runners in the 12-hour race category finish Sunday morning and receive medals, wine, and awards. 

  • SUNDAY 6:00 PM

    24-HOUR FINISH

    Runners in the 24-hour race category finish and receive medals, wine, and awards. 100-mile runners can continue if at or over 84-miles.

  • SUNDAY 12:00 PM

    100-MILE FINISH

    Runners in the 100-miles race category finish before or no later than midnight, and receive medals, wine, and awards. The race is officially finished.

  • MONDAY MORNING

    DEPART

    Pack up and depart. Drive safely!
